Dear friends,

Time for an update from Haiti. The civil war of the rivaling gangs continues to ravage the country. Journalists live in constant threat of aggression and even have to fear for their lives. A lot of the time, it is too dangerous for the patients to come to the clinic for treatment. There is no more air traffic into Haiti, cargo ship and postal services are limited and the Dominican Republic – on the other half of the island – has built a wall to prevent desperate Haitians to flee via their airport. People are trapped in a war zone. Eternally changing, we are still 

The Chameleon Clinic

Always having to adapt, our clinic has now three students who passed the first two exams of homeopathy. Jinpa is very pleased with the trainees’ level of understanding. Thank you to the Bodhicitta Trust for sponsoring the training! This has allowed them to treat people from their homes, so even during shoot-outs or road blocks, people can sneak to whichever clinic post is nearest to them. Most of the other homeopathic trainees are now able to attend to simple cases by themselves and are excited by the success they observe. Also, Jean-Louis, who manages the main location, is very skilled at finding people who have the means to pay for their treatment. Thus the clinic can generate some income to cover costs for local suppliers such as bottles and sterile gloves.  

Many Small Locations

Each of the three trainees who has passed the exams have a solid understanding of homeopathy has received a small practitioner kit, as well as essential oils and herbs etc. Thank you, Karyn and Sarah, for sponsoring the kits! And congratulations to Juline, Jean-Louis and Dany! There are seven other students studying to pass this first exam from all over Haiti, so clinic locations will increase soon. Jinpa teaches and coaches them daily. We have a dentist, one midwife, a nurse, an engineer, a medical lab technician and a school teacher in the group. Their educational background really helps them to follow class well.

In order to spread the healing effect even further, the patients who come from further away are sent home with small bottles with essential oils for various ills – infections, digestive problems, hypertension, respiratory difficulties, heart issues etc. It may be one or two months before they can return to the clinic to report the result. In the meantime, they share the essential oil sparingly with many back home, thus spreading healing around them. The essential oils are held in such high esteem at the clinic, Jean-Louis has used the income to buy a small fridge to keep the oils cool to preserve them better. Ylang Ylang continues to be incredibly effective for heart issues and Teatree and Lavender are the stars of treating infections. Ginger is a favourite for period cramps in young girls. Thank you Lora and Martin for your donations! The clinic has already bought a fridge to keep the oils cool, but there is only electricity for a short time once every 48 hours. So we are presently fundraising for a solar panel to keep the remedies cool to preserve them longer. (The donation button is on the home page up on top!)

 

Wild Stories and Amazing Results

We receive wildly inspiring stories of cures with heartfelt thanks from Haiti every day. For example, the story of a man who fell on his head as a 4 year old boy, after which he was very sick for two weeks with strong throat pain preventing him from swallowing. For his entire life since, he could not sleep without sucking on a candy because of such an extreme lump sensation in the throat. He also had a continual headache. He received Ignatia 200 C, one dose three days in a row. After that, all symptoms were entirely gone. Thank you to Hahnemann Labs for the remedies! 

In another case, a woman received a diagnosis of uterine fibroma, ovarian cysts and blocked Fallopian tubes based on a sonography evaluation. She was also suffering from night sweats and weak nails. She received Calcera carbonica 200 C, which was repeated a few times. After one week, her urine turned dark and she said ‘I felt something dirty come out of me’. She used her breath to push things downwards. One day, she felt that something detached itself inside the lower abdomen and come out. From then on, she had a sensation that her Fallopian tubes were free. Her energy was up and she noticed that her knees were no longer weak. When she returned to the doctor for a follow up sonography, he was very perplexed. The imaging showed that the pelvis was clear, no fibroma, no cysts, with open Fallopian tubes. He could not understand what happened, as these are not considered conditions which heal spontaneously. 

Facing off with the Gang Chief

This is the most amazing story. In order to truly understand the magnitude of healing with natural remedies, it is important to understand that they act holistically, thus healing body and soul. This is the case of a shy lawyer lady. She is a government appointed defence attorney and had been given the case of a young man who had done something against one of the powerful gang chiefs. Her client and her had received death threats to drop the charges and make sure the gang chief would win the case. She was scared to death but came to the clinic for help for menstrual troubles. She received Stramonium 200 C to help her survive the emotional threat. And effective it was. She faced off in court with the gang chief’s lawyer in such a powerful way, that her client won the case. The judge said to her afterward ‘My, my, I have never seen this side in you before!’. Not only that, once the case was over, she left the court house, took her car and drove straight into the heavily armed gang chief’s camp. She was alone and unarmed. When she turned up, the gangsters thought she had lost her mind. She demanded to see the chief, who also thought she must have gone crazy. ‘What on earth makes you come here when we can kill you as we please?’ he demanded. She stood up to him and said ‘Don’t you dare to take revenge on my client who won against you!’ The gang chief was so surprised and so impressed, he invited her to sit down and have a beer with him. Not only did he let her go unharmed but also promised to leave her client alone. And he kept that promise. When the young lady returned home from the gang camp, she called Jean-Louis and said ‘What happened? That is not me! I would never do such a thing! That must have been your remedy!’ How about that for a treatment for courage!
